I do not know if you feel the same but I am rather excited about the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Midelton to be held on the 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
The 29th April is also the Feast of St Catherine. St. Catherine is said to be a young woman of noble birth who went before the Emperor Maximinus to correct him for worshipping false gods and to reproach him for his persecution of Christians.
The customary of St Cantherine's day is for unmarried women to pray for husbands, and to honor women who've reached 25 years of age but haven't married -- called "Catherinettes" in France.
I guess a lot of the excitement is that Prince William and Kate Midelton visited the Seychelles Islands on Holiday in August 2007 for a secluded romantic break on the island of Desroches. Further local rumours are the royal wedding was discussed and Kate accepted in the Seychelles islands. All very exciting but they are not the first to have a wedding proposal in the Seychelles.
