Today I decided to do some research into the Miss World contest for 2014 and it reminded me back to when Seychelles hosted the Miss World contest in 1997 and in 1998. I still recall assisting them in the set up in 1998- the island was a buzz with activity and it was really a fantastic event.
Now its 2014 and the latest Miss World which is the 64th edition is to held on December 14, at ExCeL London in London. The contest has attracted some 124 contestants from all over the world and one of them is hoping to be crowned by the current Miss World Megan Young from the Philippines.
They seem to have had a host of events to get through. Rather them than me!! But we are here to support our current reigning Miss Seychelles Camilla Estico. We wish you all the success you are making us proud.
