The people of the Seychelles are very proud of their locally and well known musical artist Patrick Victor also as he takes stage in Reunion.
Patrick was born into a musical family and used to enjoy listening to his grandfather's musical practice sessions of the Anse Boileau
Kamtole Band. In the beginning of his musical career, he was playing at local functions at tourism establishments, but quickly got to notice that people visiting the Seychelles wanted to hear the local Kreole Music and enjoy the Sega. This lead Patrick onto his role as that of a Creole Ambassador of Music and lead to his well known local name of the Kreol King of the Islands.
Patrick was selected to tour the Indian Ocean with the promotion of the Li Te Ve War. He was joined with other well known Artists from the Indian Ocean such as Linzy
Bacbotte from Mauritius who is also the winner of the prestigious award –
Member of the Order of the Star and Key of Indian Ocean, Jaojoby from
Madagascar dubbed ‘Master of Salegy’, and Salim Ali Amir from Comores,
the grand winner of prestigious awards in the musical arena.

the National Cultural Centre in Victoria.
