The Seychelles 35 years ago today, declared some of their most breathtaking parks as protected areas. By protecting the areas the Seychelles Islands has ensured that a sustainable income for many fisherman on the islands is maintained by responsible fishing in these areas, clean unpolluted air and bays around the parks and the abundance of a natural habitat for marine life.
The two largest of the Seychelles protected parks are- Morne
Seychellois and Praslin National Park as well as the three smaller Seychelles marine national parks of Curieuse, Baie Ternay and Port Launay . I am so fortunate to have been to all these protected parks and they are all of such immense beauty that your eyes just can not believe what they see. The colours the contrasts the sounds - yes that is is what Seychelles is all about the beauty that no other place on earth can match. The Seychelles is not referred to as the garden of Eden for no reason!
