What an exciting day for the Giant Seychelles tortoises at the National Botanical Gardens on Mahe Island Seychelles.
They have received a larger enclosure to roam, moan, and dip themselves in fresh water. What a life!

opened by the Minister for Environment and Energy Professor Rolph Payet
in a small ceremony in the at National Botanical Gardens located in Victoria on Mahe Island.
The larger enclosure, which houses 30 tortoises, will now enable visitors to the gardens to interact with the tortoises and even feed them. Information is available at the information counter and they will confirm what you can feed the tortoises.
