Direct flights to Seychelles from Europe

We have just received this latest press release from our Seychelles Hotel Association regarding direct flights from Italy to the Seychelles. 

SEYCHELLES CONFIRMS THAT IT RE-ESTABLISHES NON STOP SERVICES INTO EUROPE

A Seychelles Delegation headed by Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) and Capt David Savy, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) accompanied by Monette Rose, the Tourism Board’s Manager for Italy met with Franco C.B. Pecci, the Chairman and CEO of Blue Panorama Airlines, Alessandra L.M. Pecci Gizzi, Remo Della Porta, Vice President Sales, and Francesco Veneziano, Marketing and Interline Director at the Blue Panorama Airlines Offices in Rome Italy.

19/01/2012-Following the meeting, the Seychelles Delegation has confirmed to the Press that the tropical islands has re-established NON STOP Air Services into Europe. Mr Franco C.B. Pecci, the Chairman and CEO of Blue Panorama Airline has confirmed the their first direct weekly flight to Seychelles will leave from Milan and Rome on 14 February. This Valentine’s Day flight  is set to leave Italy at 6pm from Milan and Rome at 8.10pm to arrive in Seychelles at 7.25am on the 15^th February. A special promotional fare has been launched for this Valentine’s Day flight to the paradise islands of the Seychelles. Blue Panorama Airline is seeing the launch of their Seychelles service at Valentine Day as the start of a love affair with Seychelles.

Blue Panorama Airline is set to increase their weekly service to the Seychelles to two flights as from July this year.

Italy remains the second main tourism market for Seychelles and the void the direct NON STOP flight will help to not only consolidate the market, but also help to grow it.

As they were confirming their flight service to the Seychelles, the Management of Blue Panorama Airline has said that they were now only waiting to receive final details of Handling Charges from Air Seychelles to finalize all their Operational Costs.  They were thankful for the support and for the cooperating they have received from the Civil Aviation Authority and the island’s Tourism Board.
