100th Anniversary for the Seychelles State house is being celebrated this year.
The
magnificent Seychelles Islands state house built in 1911 is celebrating
its anniversary by opening its doors to allow tourist visiting the
Seychelles on holiday to visit this magnificent residence and
surrounding area of utter grandeur.
The
superintendent of works, Mr. Vaudon was a very proud man and left a
great history of his work during his realm, he was involved in the
construction of the State House and the Victoria Clock tower in 1903.
Two great symbolic sites for the Seychelles.
Tourist
can now visit the State House, which is a National monument, every
Wednesday to learn about the historical and natural heritage of the
Seychelles Monument. The Tourism Board and State House are hoping to provide tourist's with a better understanding of the history and legacy of the Seychelles Islands.

centenary celebrations, and now we wish to expand this and give
tourists the opportunity to do the same,”
Tourist visiting the state house are asked to pay SCR150 and they in turn can enjoy the unique flora of
State House, giant tortoises and the mausoleums in which colonial
