2. One of the first to participate in the glass and plastic recycling programme on Mahe.

3. The Chalets collect rain water to water their tropical garden which they have re landscaped to add more endemic plants.

4. They use of Tortoise manure as a fertiliser for their tropical garden.

5. The Chalets do regular beach clean ups to collect any debris washed up onshore.

6. They have replaced light bulbs to lower wattage to conserve energy.
The list is rather extensive with the measure they have adapted and the management confirmed they have had tourist that have just been amazed at the wonderful pristine environment they have surrounding the chalets.

The chalets are very fortunate to be able to have the Anse Forbans beach in front of them, the Beau Sejour Mountains behind them and a wonderful tailored landscaped tropical garden to explore.

Mr. Jean-Pierre Laporte commented on the Environmental Policy "We have always had our environment as our main concern from day one and this will remain our commitment. We now are showing our commitment with the publication of our Environmental Statement."
