Are you planning a holiday in the Seychelles Islands and wondering where best to stay? Should you choose Mahe Island, Praslin, La Digue or even one of the many outer coral atolls in the Seychelles...
The Seychelles as a holiday destination has so much to offer and the same is true for accommodation on the islands. You can select from Seychelles hotel, guesthouses, villas, beach bungalows, apartments and the list goes on.

Next question is what is your budget and do you want to be on the beach or in the mountains?
My recommendation is to try as many of the islands that your budget will allow. You will arrive on Mahe Island either by plane at the Seychelles International Airport or by boat/cruise at the Seychelles International Port area. Either way I highly recommend you take some time to enjoy the wonders of Mahe Island. ( I am biased as I am from Mahe!!)

| Mission Lodge Mahe Island |
Mahe Island has loads to offer from its Sir Selwyn Market in the heart of Victoria , to amazing art studios and of course to the world famous Seychelles Beaches. The island also boasts historical sites like The Mission Lodge and wonderful hikes and trails through mountain areas and coastlines.

| Coco de Mer Tree Seychelles |
Praslin is the second largest island of the Seychelles archipelago and hosts the world renowned Vallee de Mai where the local coco de mer grows wild. Do try take a guide tour to show you all the amazing wildlife within the park such as the Black Parrot. Praslin also has some fantastic beaches and hikes.
La Digue is a fairy tale little island. When you arrive in the port area it is just breath taking. I must confess each time I go to La Digue I do nothing else but lie on Anse Source d' Argent beach and take in the sunshine. But I am told you have loads to do but with all my good intentions Anse Source d' Argent is as far as I go when I get to La digue.

The outer islands are for the bigger budgets but if you can -do do go. My favourites would be North Island, Fregate island, Denis, Alphonse and Bird. I have yet to get to Desroches. Fingers crossed one day I will visit.
The Seychelles is an amazing holiday destination to just relax and marvel at the natural beauty of its islands. I wish you a wonderful Holiday in the Seychelles.
